West Valley Central School District is seeking a dependable and student-focused individual to serve as a Substitute Bus Driver.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will safely transport students to and from school and school activities while maintaining a positive and professional environment on the bus.
Safely operating a school bus in accordance with NYS law and district procedures
Conducting required daily pre-trip inspections
Following assigned routes and schedules
Maintaining a safe and orderly bus environment
Communicating professionally with students, staff, and parents
Completing required reports and documentation
Competitive hourly rate of $23.00
Opportunity for additional driving assignments when available
Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students each day
All appointments are subject to Board of Education approval.
Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements for school bus operation
Clean driving record
Ability to meet all NYS and district employment requirements
Strong commitment to student safety
